He is wide-eyed and believes his idol is always right and wisest and he is just waiting for the day when he can grow up like his idol.

(c) What do you think the little boy would wish to ‘grow up to be like you’?

Answer: The boy wishes to ‘grow up like you’ because he earnestly believes that his idol is the wisest of the wise and always right.
