Question 1: What did the vase wish to see?
Answer: The vase wished to see the world a little more because when it was brought to the shop, it was wrapped in a paper.

Answer: The vase was wrapped up tight.

Answer: No, ‘everything’ does not really spin, but because the top is spun on the ground, it seems that the whole world is spinning around.

Answer: The wooden donkey nodded its head to agree with the description given by the fat top.
Question 8: Why did the kite and the ball exchange a smile?
Answer: The kite and the ball exchanged a smile because they were the ones who had actually seen the whole world which was more beautiful than what was explained by the fat top or imagined by the bird. This was because the kite flew in the blue sky and the ball was played on lush green ground, hence they had seen the great, wide beautiful, wonderful world.

Answer: This poem teaches us that we believe only what we see.
