Answer: The cage-bird is not free to fly around, so its wings are useless. This is why they are described as being sorrowful.

Answer: List of a number of things that the speaker’s bird can do:

  • It is free to build a nest and thrive.
  • It can sing out with a true wood-note
  • It can fly freely.

Answer: Both the birds sing. But the song of the cage bird is different because it is trapped in a cage and is full of sorrow.

Answer: No, I would not like it. Freedom is very human’s right. The experience must be similar for animals and birds too. They too deserve to live a free life.
