Answer: Yes, I agree that though Sarah was Abraham Lincoln’s stepmother, she was more than a mother to him. From the time she entered his life, she did everything she could do to improve his situation and encouraged him to read and learn more. Both Lincoln and she seemed to think in a similar manner and they treated each other with mutual love and respect. Sarah had recognised early in life that there was something very special about Abraham and she supported him in all his intellectual endeavours so that he could further his development.
