Answer: The poet does small, kind things for his family. He wipes the baby’s tears, makes his sister happy, helps his brother feel better, gives strength to his father and fills his mother’s heart with love.
Question 6: ‘To make the earth forever fair…. Give two examples each to highlight the earth as ‘fair’ in terms of both ‘being just’ and ‘being beautiful’.
Answer: When the poet says ‘to make the earth forever fair’, he means that he wants the earth to be fair and beautiful. Fair can mean sharing things equally and treating everyone kindly. Beautiful can mean keeping the earth clean, having green trees, flowers, clean river and blue sky.
