Question 2: It is said that the king had mixed feelings when he got the news. What would he have felt happy about? What would his feelings have been towards the goldsmith? What would he have done on account of these different feelings?
Answer: The king would have felt happy about the cleverness of Archimedes and how he had proven the goldsmith disloyal. He would have probably been disappointed by the goldsmith’s actions and he must have given him punishment for what he had done.
