Answer: When Henry Armstrong sat up in his casket at the sound of lighting. The two medical students were terrorized to see a dead man rise out of his grave. So, they fled from the cemetery in terror. Therefore, they could not be persuaded to return.

Answer: Jess said these words.

Answer: The medical students were supposed to pay him for the dead body of Henry Armstrong.

Answer: It was a dark summer night. The flashes of light in the sky indicated about the coming of the storm. On such nights, no one dares to move about a cemetery. So, the two young students felt reasonably ‘secure’ in digging out the grave.
