People started coughing and their face and clothes were blackened by the soot. Next, an old lady screamed as mice were running all over her. Then, the smell of rotten eggs and whales filled the room. Water began to drip from the damped ceiling and a fire broke out in the upper floor of the house and lastly the narrator found two cherubs with cherries in their mouth lying on the back seat of his car.
