Charlie’s Daily Dose of Sunshine Questions & Answers

Answer: The man at the park told the author that the raven was an orphan. He asked if she would take the bird home.
Question 2: What did the author call the raven after bringing him home?
Answer: After bringing the raven home, the author called him ‘Charlie’.

Answer: The author took the tiny and shivering raven home because she realised that it might be the only chance for him to survive. Moreover, her home had become a shelter for unwanted animals.

Answer: The game they often played was that Charlie would take pebbles from Zeke’s precious collection. When Zeke ran at him, he would fly away and sit on the branch of the tree, laughing loudly.

Answer: Charlie and Zeke had a loving and playful relationship. After Charlie had his bath, Zeke would allow him to snuggle with him. Charlie would then sleep between Zeke’s paws. Charlie would sometimes call out to Zeke, imitating the author’s voice and when Zeke came running in expectation, Charlie would give his loud belly laugh. Charlie would also tease Zeke by pretending as if he was taking a pebble from Zeke’s precious collection.
