Answer: To start with, Madam put together a group of local people. She then hired garbage collectors for a monthly salary of 1000 rupees with an additional pay of 5 rupees for every bag of garbage. After working for 14 months, Madam’s team collected 44 tons of garbage in 14,000 gunny bags. That is how, Madam Sitliing got mountain of garbage cleared.
