Answer: This is a motivational poem which shows the different ups and downs of life. It says that hope and strong will contain the solution to all the problems. Looking beyond darkness till the ray of light is visible to enlighten your path is the key. With self-confidence and will-power, one can handle all situations and emerge victorious.

Question 5: According to you, what is a perfect life?

Answer: A perfect life may be a fascinating term as everyone faces lows and highs in life. Joy and sorrow are two different sides of a coin. If you are able to face problems with courage and find solution, you are a winner. So, to make life perfect, make the best of it. Live, love, help and spread happiness around.

Question 6: How can we find hope even in the adverse situations?

Answer: Hope is a magical word which whispers success in our ears. It helps us face all the negative situations. Hiding from problems can never give any solution. Trying to solve the problem with confidence and faith in self is the only way out because there is a hope for success.  

Question 7: Which are your favourite lines in the poem and why? Give suitable reasons.

Answer: The last four lines of the poem are my favourite as they spell success, happiness and hope. The poetess is convinced that hope and strong will can help one solve the problems of life. Pain is present in all forms of life. One must learn to accept it and try to resolve it and live life to the fullest.

Question 8: What is the difference between a happy and a sad life? On the basis of the poem, give your views.

Answer: A sad person’s life is depressed, uncomfortable, full of anxiety and sadness. It seems like a bed of thorns, negative thoughts make one lose control over his body, life and ego. Life has no excitement, no charm.

But a happy person’s life is positive, happy and joyful as he understands that day is always followed by night. Bad situations or problems are sure to improve so live every moment with contentment. Tomorrow never comes and today is the time to live and let live.

Answer: Renewal means coming out victorious. One must learn to love each day even in dark side and disagreement for within our heartache we can find cure called life. Life is to be lived, live it like a happy occasion. Face the odds smiling and enjoy your share of sunlight.

Question 10: Do you think that the poem is an inspiration to the people who are sad with their lives and find everything bad around them?

Answer: Yes, indeed this is a motivational poem. People usually become sad by comparing themselves to others. They always think why others are so happy, healthy and vital while he is sad and unsuccessful. He is just existing and not living. But then comes inspiration and motivation and she realises that now is the time to live her life to the fullest. So, look for solutions to her problems, finds hope in her life and experiences how laughter felt delicious and warm inside.
