Answer: In reality music teacherā€™s chappal were old and worn out, however, he pretended that his chappals were brand new and expensive ones. Due to all this, he tried not to look too happy on getting Gopu Mamaā€™s chappals, whereas he was happy inside as Gopu Mamaā€™s chappals were hardly worn and were near to a new pair.

Answer: The beggar was in real need for a pair of chappals as his feet were full of blisters. He vanished in a minute on getting a gift of chappals as he did not want to lose that gift by anybodyā€™s interference from the house as he knew that children have given him the pair of chappals without seeking anybodyā€™s permission.
