Answer: Some people said that the fire died out because people in the palace were always quarrelling. Others said that the fire died out because the winter that year was very cold.

Answer: In return for the lumps of coal, the man wanted some gold pieces.
Question 5: What did Gina want in return for the coal?
Answer: In return for the coal, Gina wanted the king to make her father the captain of the guards.
