Question 1: Who was Imli Baba?
Answer: Imli Baba was a hermit who was held in high regard and people came to pay him respect all over India.
Question 2: Describe Imli Baba’s hermitage.
Answer: Imli Baba’s hermitage was in a clearing in the forest below a huge tamarind tree. In a hut, the Baba sat on a bearskin with a disciple by his side. There was a clothes line stretched across the wall from which hung about a dozen sloughed snake skins.
Question 3: What happened immediately after Dhurjati Babu attacked the snake?
Answer: Immediately after Dhurjati Babu attacked the snake, Imli Baba and his disciple arrived to take their place right behind them. They saw the Baba standing with the staff in his hand a dozen feet behind them. He had his eyes fixed on Dhurjati Babu.
