Question 1: Complete the following lines:

Answer: Words are like food and dress of thoughts. They help to express thoughts in a clear and true manner. Words give body and form to the beautiful thoughts that are imprisoned in our mind.

Answer: Only proper and carefully chosen words can free our thoughts. Thoughts are imprisoned in the minds of the people.

Question 5: Is the ending positive or negative? Give lines from the poem to prove your points.

Answer: The ending of the poem is positive as the poet is saying that our mind is full of beautiful thoughts and marvellous surprises. According to the poet, only words can free thoughts that are imprisoned in our minds. The poet says:
But only words can free a thought
From its prison behind your eyes
May be your mind is holding now
A marvellous new surprise!
