Answer: No, I don’t think that the Princess is a good name for Penny. Patty Jean calls her that because she thinks that Penny is special and always seated on a throne.

Question 6: Why had Patty Jean not gone to camp like all her other friends?

Answer: Patty Jean had not gone to camp because her parents did not have the money to send her there. they had just bought braces for Penny’s legs.

Question 7: What did Patty Jean think when she first saw her parents outside the house?

Answer: When Patty Jean first saw her parents outside the house, she thought that they were looking for the throne.

Question 8: Describe how Patty Jean’s feelings for Penny change by the end of the story. What does Patty Jean realise?

Answer: At the end of the story, Patty Jean realizes that she had been wrong about Penny. Penny has a hard life and still manages to keep herself happy.
