Question 1: Who was Hugo? Where did he live?
Answer: Hugo was a very hardworking, gentle giant. He lived in the foothills of Aconcagua, a mountain peak in the Andes range.
Question 2: What did Hugo use to grow?
Answer: He used to grow all the wheat, vegetables and fruits that he needed.
Question 3: What did Hugo do on every Sunday?
Answer: Every Sunday, Hugo dressed well and went down to the village.
Question 4: Why were the villagers afraid of Hugo?
Answer: The villagers were afraid of Hugo because they thought that he would take all their children and would steal their cattle and food.
Question 5: What happened to Annalisa when Hugo came to the village?
Answer: When Hugo came to the village, Annalisa tried to run, however, her crutch slipped and she fell into a ravine.
Question 6: Do you think Hugo was loud? How do you come to know?
Answer: Yes, Hugo was loud. We came to know because doors rattled and things fell off shelves as the giant spoke. The giant was so loud that the villagers had to close their ears. Nobody could hear him.
Question 7: Who could hear Hugo and why?
Answer: Two people could hear Hugo. Annalisa, because that day she was in the ravine, and merchant Bolf, because he was hard of hearing. He could hear the loud giant perfectly.
Question 8: How do you know that the people in the village are helpful?
Answer: We know that the people in the village are helpful because they immediately run down the ravine to help Annalisa.
Question 9: Who was cheating the villagers? How did they catch him?
Answer: Merchant Bolf was cheating the villagers. Once he was celebrating his loot little realizing that he was being watched. The villagers caught him red-handed and he with his other men was arrested.

Answer: The villagers sent Bolf wheat, chicken and sheep and they hid and watched him. Merchant Bolf was celebrating his loot little realizing that he was being watched. The villagers caught him red-handed and he with his other men was arrested.
